Frame of Mind

A dance double bill.

SACE: Creative Arts, Dance, Music Integrated Studies, Research Project

Adelaide Premiere

A wildly powerful double bill featuring Rafael Bonachela’s multi award-winning Frame of Mind and the smash hit Wildebeest by Adelaide’s own Gabrielle Nankivell.

Featuring a dramatic contemporary-classical soundtrack by Bryce Dessner (American hit rock band The National) and recorded by San Francisco’s virtuosic Kronos Quartet.

Wildebeest examines the power of dance en masse. Moody and animalistic, it’s backed by a stormy, industrial score by Luke Smiles. A gripping evening of high-octane dance. A strictly limited Adelaide season.

"Bonachela’s Frame of Mind delivers an emotionally engaging and overarching choreographic mastery... electric" – Daily Review
