South Australian performing arts pioneer Ruby Litchfield starred in the leading role of Adelaide Repertory Theatre’s The Little Foxes in 1951. The performance won the South Australian round in the Commonwealth Jubilee Drama Festival and went on to win the grand prize at the national finals held in Hobart. Each member of the cast was awarded a medal.
