G costume designed by Daniel Jaber and Gaelle Mellis, Australian Dance Theatre, 2009

Premiered by Australian Dance Theatre in 2009, G is a reworked version of the classic ballet Giselle. Re-created and choreographed by Garry Stewart, G highlights the love, sex and jealousy of the original narrative. Costume designers Daniel Jaber and Gaelle Mellis’ tutus and satin pointe shoes are a nod to the traditional Giselle, and the fluorescent emerald-coloured fabric was selected specifically to add to the modernity of the show.
