With the generous support of David Venn Enterprises and Adelaide Festival Centre Foundation, schools and communities from across Adelaide were given the opportunity via Adelaide Festival Centre’s centrED Schools Program and the TIX for ALL equity ticketing program to see a performance of Elvis: A Musical Revolution.
Adelaide Festival Centre’s centrED Schools Program was able to invite over 160 students and teachers from Craigmore High School, Mark Oliphant College, Para Hills High School, Parafield Gardens High School, Paralowie R-12 School and Riverbanks Secondary College to a performance of Elvis: A Musical Revolution at Her Majesty’s Theatre on Wednesday April 3.
On the same date, over 50 recipients from community groups which included Connecting Foster and Kindship Carers SA and Lolly Jar Circus attended the special opening night performance of Elvis: A Musical Revolution through TIX for ALL.
Adelaide Festival Centre Foundation’s Arts for All program and TIX for ALL are initiatives that ensure that everyone regardless of social or economic impact, can access and enjoy the arts and encompasses Adelaide Festival Centre’s mission to provide Arts for All.
I just want to say thank you for the opportunity. It’s a cool experience to be able to do this and get together as a community and see a really beautiful show.
The energy was absolutely incredible... the lighting and the actors and the singing was absolutely phenomenal! It was overall just an amazing performance, and I would recommend it to anyone.
How amazing! Thank you so much. We really appreciate the opportunity to come along to a show like this, that we may not have been able to do otherwise.
Elvis: A Musical Revolution is now playing at Her Majesty’s Theatre 3 – 28 April 2024.
