You will enjoy all art forms a little more with the pride that comes from a contribution to the society in which you live.

— Peter Emmerton, Heart of the Arts donor

There’s something very special about being part of something bigger than yourself. That's how Peter, a founding donor of Heart of the Arts, describes his experience supporting the arts in South Australia.

“It gives me great joy to help support the arts in South Australia. It helps me feel part of a positive social contribution. I am content in the knowledge that there are a great many individuals who as a collective make a difference even though their individual contributions are modest in nature.”

This collective spirit is what drives Adelaide Festival Centre Foundation’s regular giving program Heart of the Arts. By making regular contributions, people like Peter are building a sustainable future for the arts in South Australia, helping to directly connect South Australians with the enriching power of the arts.

Their regular donations are helping to remove barriers for school students to attend performances and arts experiences at Adelaide Festival Centre as well as supporting our TIX for ALL program, On Stage program and Arts for All programs.

I truly believe that the arts in all their diversity, just like sports reflect the key aspects of a community and the people who make up that community. They anchor us, challenge us and delight us in a range of constantly evolving ways.

— Peter Emmerton

Heart of the Arts is an easy way to make a regular contribution, no matter the amount. Your support is flexible, and you can easily adjust or cancel your donation at any time.

Together, we can ensure a thriving arts scene for generations to come.
