After Images tracks the remarkable history of Australian Dance Theatre, our nation’s oldest continuing contemporary dance company.
In celebration of the company’s 60th birthday, it revisits iconic works by ADT’s six Artistic Directors and the indelible mark they have left on contemporary dance locally and internationally.
Diving deep into public and private collections, After Images seeks to re-activate choreographies that are now elusive.
Combining film, photography, costume and other ephemera, After Images captures what is gained and loss in the life cycle of a company that is in a constant state of motion and evolution.
