Participants will be notified of their acceptance into the program by 20 December 2024.

Gain hands on experience in the world of technical production including lighting, sound and staging.

Interested in a career working backstage and want to gain experience learning from industry professionals?

Join Adelaide Festival Centre staff and learn more about what’s it’s like to put on a performance in a professional environment. Career and educational pathway discussions will also feature as part of this workshop.

No experience required however participants must have a strong interest in the performing arts industry as capacity is strictly limited!

On Stage Program Scholarships

Whilst this Technical Theatre program is free of charge to all participants, Adelaide Festival Centre offers a limited number of travel assistance scholarships to young people who would not normally have the opportunity to participate in arts learning due to their remote location.

Accessibility

This venue is wheelchair accessible.

Accessible tickets and Companion Card bookings are now available online for many Adelaide Festival Centre shows on Ticketek.

If the show you are looking at doesn't have online booking available, please complete Ticketek's Accessible Seating Form and you will be contacted to process your booking.

Workshops run for one day from 8:45am-4:00pm.
Runtime
7 hours and 15 minutes
Recess, lunch, and afternoon breaks provided. Please bring your own lunch and snacks.
